Psyvariar 3, Release Date for the New Chapter of the Scrolling Shooter
Complete with a physical edition on PS5
Developers Banana Bytes and Red Art Studios, and publishers Red Art Games and Success Corporation have announced the release date for their Psyvariar 3. The new chapter of the vertical-scrolling shooter will debut on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 19, 2026, over 20 years after the second episode on Dreamcast.
In addition, a physical edition will be available in Europe for Sony's flagship console. You can find the Standard edition with the game on disc at various retailers, while a Deluxe edition, featuring a reversible cover and magnet set, will also be available on the Red Art Games online store. If you don't mind importing, Japan will boast a limited edition for Switch, Switch 2, and PS5, which includes pins and a soundtrack CD.
