Psycho Killer – Trailer for the Upcoming Horror Thriller in Theaters
On the trail of her husband's killer, a woman embarks on a descent into hell
Psycho Killer will debut in cinemas starting February 20th, distributed by 20th Century Studios, an horror thriller that aims for a mix of extreme violence, psychological tension, and satanic suggestions.
At the center of the story is a woman marked by a devastating trauma: after the brutal murder of her husband, a Kansas highway patrol officer, she decides to track down the killer. What begins as a hunt in the name of justice quickly transforms into a descent into the abyss of the criminal mind, when the protagonist discovers she is dealing with a sadistic serial killer, guided by a dark and deeply disturbing design.
From the same screenwriter as the masterpiece Se7en
The film is written by Andrew Kevin Walker, a cult screenwriter known for amazing works like Se7en and Sleepy Hollow, while the direction marks the debut behind the camera for veteran producer Gavin Polone (Zombieland, Panic Room). The main face of the film is Georgina Campbell, already appreciated in Barbarian, alongside James Preston Rogers as the killer. The cast is completed by Grace Dove, Logan Miller, and a horror cinema icon like Malcolm McDowell.
The production involves heavyweights like Roy Lee and Arnon Milchan, confirming the project's ambitions. Psycho Killer has obtained the U.S. "R" rating for explicit content: bloody violence, sex, graphic nudity, drug use, and strong language. We are awaiting the Italian rating and release date in our cinemas, which should still be within the month of February.
