Project Rabbit: The Announcement of the Korean Soulslike
Let's see how deep the rabbit hole goes
Lies of P has set a precedent: there's another Korean developer intent on creating a soulslike video game, loosely inspired by a great classic of 19th-century literature. After Pinocchio, we move on to Alice in Wonderland, written in 1865 by Lewis Carroll: NovaFlare studio has chosen to base its work, called Project Rabbit, on this novel.
Details on Project Rabbit
Project Rabbit is described as a hardcore action game, blending extraction mechanics with soulslike combat. Alice in Wonderland has been reimagined as a dark fantasy universe where East meets West: it's no coincidence that the trailer features both gothic elements and others drawn from Asian tradition. NovaFlare aims to create a virtually infinitely replayable experience.
Where and When Project Rabbit Will Be Released
The only confirmed platform for Project Rabbit is PC, via Steam. For now, this title does not yet have a launch window, but judging by the trailer, it seems there's still a good deal of work to be done before release, so we don't expect to see it anytime soon.
