After its summer premiere at FrightFest, Pig Hill by Kevin Lewis (Willy’s Wonderland, The Accursed), which received significant public acclaim, will soon begin a second life in streaming, arriving on the US platform Screambox.

The story follows Carrie (played by Rainey Qualley), a young woman tormented by the mysterious disappearances of women in her small town. Together with her brother (Shiloh Fernandez), she decides to investigate the local folklore concerning the so-called “pig people”. What she discovers is a chilling family secret that drags her into a nightmare of betrayal, madness, and violence.

Unreleased Horror Film Already in its Second Life in the USA

By her side is Andy (Shane West), a trusted friend who will help her survive in a perverse game of cat and mouse. The legends soon prove to be rooted in a bloody reality, culminating in a brutal confrontation that will push Carrie to the extreme limits of her endurance and the need to fight for her life.

The film is produced by Marty Schiff, R.A. Mihailoff, and Kevin Lewis himself, with executive production by Ted Watts Jr. and Matthew Shreder of Concourse Media. The screenplay, written by Jarrod Burris, is based on Nancy Williams’ novel Pig.

According to Dan Fisher, VP of Cineverse, Pig Hill is a “visceral and disturbinghorror film that will captivate genre fans with its retro atmosphere and uncompromising terror. As usual, it is difficult to imagine this work arriving in our cinemas; we hope at least in a streaming format.
