Ice Cream Man: Full Italian Trailer for Eli Roth's Horror Film
The quiet town of Bayleen Bay is disrupted by the arrival of a sinister ice cream man
Midnight Factory has released the uncensored Italian poster and trailer for Ice Cream Man, the new horror film written and directed by Eli Roth, coming to Italian cinemas around Halloween. After films like Hostel, Cabin Fever, and Thanksgiving, Roth returns to directing with a project conceived over twenty years ago and developed through his independent label The Horror Section.
For the launch, two distinct trailers were created: a version with lighter, less explicit sequences and a full version that uncensoredly shows the film's more extreme component, which is the one we are presenting.
The full version of the trailer is not for everyone
The story is set in the quiet town of Bayleen Bay, disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious ice cream man played by Ari Millen (Orphan Black). After tasting his delights, the town's children transform into ruthless killers, giving rise to a spiral of horrifying atrocities.
The teaser poster also plays on the contrast between childhood imagery and horror: an apparently innocent ice cream cone hides unsettling details that foreshadow the film's events. Snoop Dogg also contributes to the soundtrack.
Ice Cream Man will arrive in Italian cinemas this Halloween, distributed by Midnight Factory.
