Capcom has shared a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, showing us never-before-seen gameplay sequences. We follow the protagonist Musashi Miyamoto as he visits a shrine known for severing the threads of fate: here, an ominous presence and a formidable enemy await him. Some of the game's environments are based on real-world locations, situated around Kyoto.

Specifically, what we see in the trailer can be attributed to the Shinto shrine of Yasui Konpiragu. We remind you that Onimusha: Way of the Sword is set to launch on September 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
