British developer Hello Games announces the release of the new No Man's Sky update, patch 7.10, called Forsaken. This update follows Cosmos, which was released last month, while celebrations for the game's tenth anniversary were still underway. Forsaken adds further content to the sci-fi video game and, most importantly, extends the experience to a new platform.

No Man's Sky on iOS

The main novelty is the release of No Man's Sky on iOS devices: the game is available on relevant devices starting today, October 28, with a new interface designed for touch controls and optimization that takes battery life into account. Speaking of the interface, the new Minimal Hud mode is worth noting, as it reduces on-screen icons to the bare minimum, making universe exploration even more immersive.

The universe will indeed need to be explored to find another of Forsaken's novelties, the forsaken merchants: these are collectors hidden in remote locations, who are willing to bestow unique modules for Corvettes, provided an adequate offer is made to them. Players will therefore have to search for relics for the merchants, while being careful not to encounter unwanted guests… These are the main novelties of Forsaken; for more details, consult the official website.
