Last month, No Man's Sky turned 10 years old, and on that occasion, its developer, the English studio Hello Games, shared a celebratory trailer to retrace the main milestones of its journey. The developer also hinted at the next major update the game would receive: the update in question is patch 7.0, named Cosmos, and it further expands the sci-fi experience of No Man's Sky.

New Features in the Cosmos Update

No Man's Sky players can now take charge of a space station, customizing it as they wish. They can also build their own orbital station, or visit alien outposts, utilizing a completely redesigned space exploration system with a more detailed and realistic star map. Players can also venture onto drifting wrecks to salvage valuable materials before they are destroyed.

Another interesting new feature is Alliances: players can join them to coordinate resource gathering with other users, compete with other alliances, or simply find friends. Additionally, a special expedition is planned to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary. For more details on the new features introduced by Cosmos, you can consult the official website.
