Nintendo has beefed up the catalog of classics available on Switch and Switch 2 via subscription. The November update, already available for download, introduces four significant NES and Game Boy titles to the Nintendo Classics collection. The 8-bit home console gets Battletoads and Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, while for Kyoto's first handheld console, we have the port of Bionic Commando and Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters, the second installment in the series.

In addition, both dedicated platform apps have been updated, with the ability to remap controls (better late than never), a CRT filter for NES, and power-on easter eggs for Game Boy, customized based on the set startup screen, whether classic Game Boy, Pocket, or Color. Here's the announcement trailer.
