Square Enix has announced that its NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 has surpassed 2 million copies sold. The remake of the first Nier, which originated from a branch of Drakengard and continued with the popular NierR: Automata, has managed to reach the coveted milestone almost 5 years after its debut on shelves. Not much compared to its acclaimed successor, which just today celebrates 10 million, but still better than the original, with just 500,000 copies sold between PS3 and 360. Will we ever see a new chapter in this fascinating universe?
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
