Nicolas Cage has denied authorizing the use of artificial intelligence for Spider-Noir and has questioned the possibility of working with Amazon again. At New York Comic Con, the actor openly criticized the Studio's strategy, accusing it of focusing on a technology he considers a threat to performers' jobs.

Cage's position appears difficult to reconcile with that of a company that has invested 50 billion dollars in OpenAI. The actor hinted that this divergence could prevent him from collaborating again.

The Precedent of The Flash

It's not the first time the actor has expressed similar concerns. Already in 2023, he had called artificial intelligence a threat to human creativity, fearing that his work could be manipulated without his consent. The Flash also reinforced these perplexities. Cage was surprised by the digital version of his Superman, involved in a sequence that did not correspond to what he had filmed.

Meanwhile, the series Spider-Noir has been canceled after only one season, despite five Creative Arts Emmy awards. High costs and insufficient viewership are reportedly behind the decision. For those who haven't seen it in its various versions, the suggestion is to catch it while the episodes are still available on the platform.
