MSI RTX 5080 COD MW4 Edition and Ghost on the Backplate
The company is focusing on a model primarily aimed at fans of the franchise
The portrait of Ghost is visible through a transparent section of the backplate and distinguishes the new MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC. The graphics card is born from a collaboration with Activision and features a livery inspired by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, with yellow chosen as the dominant color.
The customization also involves the cooling system, entirely painted in the same shade. MSI is thus focusing on a model primarily aimed at fans of the series, without sacrificing the technical specifications of the GPU with 16 GB of memory.
TRIO FROZR 4 for cooling
Underneath the franchise-themed exterior lies the TRIO FROZR 4 system, with STORMFORCE fans featuring claw-textured blades and a nickel-plated copper base. The cooling also utilizes Wave Curved 4.0 and Air Antegrade Fin 2.0 technologies, designed to optimize airflow. The card belongs to the OC family, but the announcement does not specify operating frequencies or performance differences compared to other MSI RTX 5080 overclocked cards.
The MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC will arrive in Italy on October 23, 2026, through the manufacturer's official store and retailer Breunor. The price has not been announced.
