Italian software house Milestone has announced MotoGP 26, the new chapter in the racing series dedicated to the world motorcycling championships. This title will offer all the official riders and circuits from the 2026 season for the MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 categories. Compared to the 25th edition, we find several new features, starting with dynamic rider ratings and a revamped riding model.

Dynamic Rider Ratings

In MotoGP 26, it will be possible to check the ratings of all riders. Each rider will have a profile with a rating based on four key attributes: lap time, pace, head-to-head, and reliability. These values will be constantly updated over time to reflect the actual performance of the riders. Consequently, the riders' real-world form will influence their in-game performance.

Rider-Based Riding Model

Milestone has revised the physics underlying the riding model, placing the rider at the center of the system: to control the bikes, players will have to manage their weight and movements. This innovation allows for a more responsive, realistic model. As in the past, users can choose between the Arcade experience (which has been revised in MotoGP 26) or the realism of the Pro experience.

The Paddock at the Heart of the World

MotoGP 26's Career mode is centered around a fully three-dimensional paddock, which serves as the central hub for the entire race weekend. The new chapter in the series focuses even more on the activities surrounding the race, introducing two new features. The first is Thursday's press conference, where the rider can set their goals for the race weekend. The second is the personal manager, a fundamental figure for Career progression.

MotoGP 26 Multiplayer

What kind of racing game would it be without multiplayer? On PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms, MotoGP 26 offers a cross-platform multiplayer mode, where as many as 22 users can occupy the entire starting grid together. Additionally, players can create and share custom designs with a dedicated editor. On Nintendo consoles, however, there is no cross-play with other platforms, and multiplayer is limited to 12 users.

Where and When MotoGP 26 is Released

MotoGP 26 will be released on April 29, 2026. You will find Milestone's new work on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox PC).
