Qliphah in Providence's Shadow: Announcement and Release Date
Arc System Works leads us into a Tokyo on the brink of collapse
Japanese studio Arc System Works, known for its fighting games, has announced a new title: Qliphah in Providence's Shadow. Developed in collaboration with UnitePlus, this video game is an action/RPG that adopts a setting quite common in Japanese productions: that of a Tokyo invaded by monsters, particularly the famous district of Shibuya. The appearance of these abominable beings, called Aberrations, is the prelude to the world's transformation.
Two protagonists will oppose this process: Souma Hoshigami, a boy who unwillingly acquired the powers of the Aberrations, and Rena Hizuki, a Tokyo police investigator tasked with confronting the phenomenon. The prominent feature of Qliphah is an action-oriented combat system, but with a timeline that shows enemy attacks, allowing players to adopt countermeasures.
