Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Features Hulk and Black Panther
An exceptional team, with two more darlings of the Marvel universe
Publisher PlayStation and developer Arc System Works have shared a new trailer for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, showcasing another of the teams that will characterize this 4v4 team fighting game. Called Fighting Avengers (or Tenacious Avengers, if you prefer), the team is composed of four key characters from the Marvel universe: there's Captain America and Iron Man, already revealed, joined by Hulk and Black Panther (Shuri).
Up Close with Hulk and Black Panther
In Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Hulk was exiled to the Savage Land by his companions to prevent him from causing damage. Here, the colossal green hero found peace and serenity, but he hasn't forgotten the lack of trust shown towards him. Hulk returns to the scene with a kind of dinosaur bone armor, a design element that highlights his primordial nature, which is also reflected in his fighting style.
Hulk can overpower any opponent with brute force, and his rage allows him to charge an exclusive bar, called the gamma indicator: when full, the Gamma Rage state activates, allowing him to unleash even more devastating attacks. Under the Black Panther mask, we find Shuri, half-sister of T'Challa (the previous Black Panther) and princess of the African state of Wakanda.
Unlike Hulk, Black Panther does not rely on brute force, but rather on agility: armed with the Spear of Bashenga, the heroine relies on sudden dashes in every direction and mid-range combat, with a wide variety of combos available. Other Game Content
In addition to Hulk and Black Panther, a new arena and a new enemy have also been revealed. The arena is Wakanda, Black Panther's home country where nature and technology coexist. The enemy, however, is the Champion, one of the Elders of the Universe. He is an incredibly powerful being, perpetually searching for worthy opponents, who has now set his sights on Earth. The "Champion's Challenge" tournament will determine which team of 4 heroes will earn the right to defend our planet from the threat.
