Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back: Sequel to the Crazy Action Game Revealed
Juliet is ready to return, with her trusty chainsaw
Publishers Dragami Games and Nada Holdings have unveiled the sequel to Lollipop Chainsaw, a project that was announced a year ago. The new title will be called Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back and the protagonist will once again be the young Juliet Starling. The cheerleader will return to San Romero, a location completely transformed by the film industry, but will become trapped inside a zombie movie and the only way out will be to fight her way through.
When and Where Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back Will Be Released
At the helm of the project, we no longer find Goichi Suda with his studio Grasshopper Manufacture, nor does director James Gunn participate: development is entrusted to JP Universe and benefits from the collaboration of Hajime Tabata (director of Final Fantasy XV) and Masahiro Yuki (co-producer of the first chapter). Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back will be released in 2027 and the first confirmed platform is PlayStation 5: there is no official trailer yet, but eight minutes of gameplay have leaked from the Tokyo Game Show.
