It is in this context that LG Electronics' webOS platform comes into play, providing access to a personalized experience, also designed for children. Thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence, webOS can adapt content, suggestions, and interface based on the selected profile, offering each family member an environment built on their preferences. Through the creation of dedicated profiles, the system recognizes viewing habits and interests, proposing content consistent with the user's age. In the case of children's profiles, webOS automatically suggests children's content in a targeted way, proposing programs and applications suitable for the little ones. AI thus goes beyond Artificial Intelligence, becoming a true Affectionate Intelligence.
An intelligent and personalized experience, confirming LG's commitment to making the Smart TV a flexible and shared ecosystem with a wide variety of content, capable of adapting to the needs of even the youngest users.
Milan, March 13, 2026 – In spring, with enrollment for the new school year, many families reflect on the most suitable tools to support children in their educational journey, both inside and outside the classroom. More and more children access digital devices and content platforms every day, often independently. In a context where technology complements traditional teaching, it becomes important to also be able to count on reliable solutions at home, capable of ensuring safe content consumption and offering educational and growth-enhancing entertainment experiences, so as to rely on secure digital environments.

Children can therefore interact with recreational and leisure apps like Disney+ and LG Channels, but also with apps featuring educational content: for example, YouTube Kids and Baby Shark World for Kids offer tutorials and educational games to learn numbers, shapes, colors, letters, foreign languages, and much more. Other learning-focused game apps, specially designed for children, include Jeopardy! - a quiz application with questions on various topics – Anipang Match – a puzzle game with cute animals and fun challenges – Playworks – a platform of interactive mini-games – and ABCmouse1 – a digital learning solution for children aged 2 to 8 that offers a rich program of activities related to main school subjects including reading and foreign languages, math, science, health, social studies, art, and music.
But not only that, webOS also offers a wide selection of other learning-dedicated apps. In addition to interactive applications for language and geography studies, various tools are available: apps for drawing and developing creativity, exercises for calculation and logic, writing activities, and musical content designed to stimulate listening and sound sensitivity.
Also supporting children's use, LG also has parental control options to limit TV usage hours, encouraging responsible use. The OLED range also features EyeSafe certification, which protects children's eyes thanks to low blue light emissions.
