LG UltraGear evo - 2026 Gaming Monitors to Feast Your Eyes On
At the heart of the innovation is the integrated on-device AI solution, the world's first 5K AI Upscaling technology
LG has announced the new UltraGear evo line, a premium brand of next-generation gaming monitors that will be unveiled at CES 2026. The range aims to redefine ultra-high-resolution gaming with 5K and 5K/2K models available in various OLED, New MiniLED, and ultrawide formats.
New Generation of Competitive Panels
At the heart of the innovation is the new integrated on-device AI solution, which introduces the world's first 5K AI Upscaling technology, to improve image quality in real-time without requiring GPU upgrades. The AI also manages scene and audio optimization, enhancing the visual and sound quality of content.
The lineup debuts with 3 flagship models. The UltraGear evo 39GX950B is a 39" 5K/2K OLED with a 1500R curvature, 21:9 aspect ratio, Primary RGB Tandem OLED technology, Dual Mode (165 Hz at 5K/2K or 330 Hz at WFHD), and a response time of 0.03 ms.
The 27GM950B is the first 27" 5K New MiniLED monitor designed to drastically reduce blooming thanks to 2,304 local dimming zones and Zero Optical Distance technology. It supports HDR1000, up to 1,250 nits, and Dual Mode 165/330 Hz. The top-of-the-range 52G930B, on the other hand, is the world's largest 5K/2K gaming monitor: 52" inches, 12:9 panoramic format, 1000R curvature, and 240 Hz refresh rate.
LG will present the entire UltraGear evo range at the Consumer Electronic Show 2026 in early January, alongside demonstration installations and the launch of the new 540 Hz UltraGear GX7.
