Layers of Fear 3, Bloober Team Announces New Chapter in Horror Saga
The Polish team celebrates 10 years of the series
Bloober Team has announced Layers of Fear 3. The Polish team, which has made a name for itself in the horror video game landscape after the recent Cronos: The New Dawn and, of course, the Silent Hill 2 remake (not to mention they are also working on the remake of the first one), has returned to the franchise that made them famous. The title was presented at an event celebrating the tenth anniversary of the original Layers of Fear's debut, with the participation of CEO Piotr Babieno and creative director Mateusz Lenart.
Layers of Fear 3 does not yet have a release date or target platforms; we will have to wait a bit longer to find out more. A physical edition of the Layers of Fear soundtrack and a series of books inspired by the saga were also announced, with the first, by Marta Bijan, due out towards the end of 2026.
