Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, Early Access Slips to 2026, But There's a Demo

Developers Unfrozen and publishers Hooded Horse and Ubisoft have announced the postponement of early access for their Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. The new installment in the historic strategic saga of Heroes of Might and Magic was expected to be released by the end of the year, but has now slipped to an unspecified 2026. In return, a demo will be available on Steam until then, already downloadable.

The content includes the tutorial, three single-player game modes (Classic, Single Hero, and Arena), and four factions (Temple, Necropolis, Dungeon, and Schism). The number of factions is expected to increase to six with early access, and multiplayer will also be included. Here's the announcement trailer.
