Frostpunk 2 Unveils The Surge Expansion: Release Date
The third DLC for the frosty management game is coming soon
Polish software house 11 Bit Studios has shared a new trailer for Frostpunk 2, giving us a preview of the game's upcoming expansion, called The Surge. This additional content will transport us to a new region of the world, very distant from those previously visited, where new technology allows us to dominate the frost, harnessing the power of storms to raise city automation to new levels.
When The Surge is released
The world of Frostpunk 2 is set to expand next month: the release date for The Surge is December 14, 2026, on all game platforms (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC). This additional content represents the third DLC for Frostpunk 2, following Fractured Utopias and Breach of Trust, and like the previous ones, it is included in the Deluxe edition at no extra cost. Alternatively, it will be possible to purchase it individually for €12.99.
