Stalker 2: Cost of Hope - Expansion Release Date
Next month, we can return to GSC Game World's post-nuclear nightmare.
Ukrainian developer GSC Game World has shared a new trailer for Cost of Hope, the first expansion for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, to announce its release date. This paid DLC will offer dozens of hours of gameplay in a non-linear setting, with new areas to explore, new weapons, and equipment; of course, there will also be new monstrous creatures to try and survive.
When Cost of Hope Arrives
The expansion is included at no additional cost in the game's Ultimate Edition (which will also grant access to a second Stalker 2 expansion, not yet announced), or it can be purchased separately. The release date for Cost of Hope is set for August 20, 2026. The expansion will be available on all Stalker 2 platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC).
