Frostpunk 2: Release Date and Details for the Breach of Trust DLC

Polish developer 11 bit Studios has shared some news about the Frostpunk strategy franchise: the series has reached 11 million players and will expand beyond the medium in the future with a graphic novel and various merchandise. Additionally, the studio will begin releasing information about Frostpunk 1886, the remake of the first installment. But the main news concerns the upcoming Frostpunk 2 DLC.
The first Frostpunk 2 DLC is called Fractured Utopias and was released last December, but two more are on the horizon. The second DLC will be Breach of Trust and will take players to the city of New Edinburgh, built on the slopes of an active volcano. Reckless exploitation of geothermal energy has compromised the area's stability, putting the settlement in serious danger. This DLC will offer a new story featuring 5 factions, with new events, buildings, and environmental hazards. 2 new scenario maps are also introduced.
Breach of Trust Release Date and Price
11 bit Studios announces that the Breach of Trust DLC will be available from June 23, 2026. The DLC's price is set at €12.99, but it is included in the Deluxe edition at no additional cost. The developer also took the opportunity to reveal the codename for the third DLC, Surge, whose launch window is set for the last quarter of 2026.
