Football Manager 26 is out today: trailer and new features
Because deep down, we are a nation of coaches
Sega and Sports Interactive announce the release of Football Manager 26: the new installment in the football management series arrives today, November 4, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Microsoft Store, Steam, Epic Games Store), Mac, as well as on Apple Arcade, Netflix Games, and Game Pass. As you may recall, last year's edition was cancelled, because it was too packed with ambitious new features, which required more development time: but now these changes are finally a reality.
New Features in Football Manager 26
The biggest undertaking for Sports Interactive was undoubtedly the switch to a new Engine, Unity, but there are also many new features regarding content. Football Manager makes its debut with women's football and has also acquired the official license for the Premier League. From a visual standpoint, the user interface has been revamped and matches will be more realistic, thanks to greater detail and more lifelike animations.
Football Manager 26 Gameplay
New features also abound on the gameplay side: tactics have evolved to better emulate those of great real-life coaches. Players will have even more settings available to make the experience more immersive, and the transfer market has been enhanced. For more information on features, consult the official website. Oh, there's one more thing: those who have an ongoing career with FM23 or FM24, on some platforms can transfer their save and continue on Football Manager 26.
