Fist of the North Star Returns – Trailer for the Cult Series Remake
A return to that world devastated by global war, where survival is dictated by strength
The return of Fist of the North Star is finally a reality. The new Japanese trailer has shown the first sequences of the remake, also confirming the international title Fist of the North Star, chosen for the global relaunch of the series.
The new version of the anime will debut on April 10, 2026 and will be simultaneously distributed on Prime Video. A release designed for an international audience, who will thus be able to follow Kenshiro's return without delays compared to Japan.
Even more brutal and bloody
The project is entrusted to TMS Entertainment, with the aim of updating the visual impact while maintaining the original tone. The trailer leaves no doubt: brutal fights, a dark atmosphere, and faithfulness to the spirit of the '80s work.
Fist of the North Star brings back to the center a world devastated after a global war, where survival is dictated by strength. In this scenario moves Kenshiro, master of Hokuto Shinken, a fighting style capable of striking the vital points of the human body with devastating effects.
The remake fits into the recent trend of bringing great classics back to life, but without distorting their identity. In this sense, everything seems to point to a recovery of the aesthetic and stylized violence that made the series famous.
