The Evil Dead universe continues to expand. While Evil Dead Burn is expected in theaters on July 8th in Italian cinemas, an update has also arrived for the other project in the works at Warner Bros and New Line. Filming for Evil Dead Wrath has concluded, paving the way for the long post-production phase that will accompany the film until its scheduled release in early April 2028.

Francis Galluppi, director of Ultima Fermata: Yuma County, is at the helm. The studio is currently keeping the plot under wraps, and no official details have been released about the approach chosen for this new chapter. Sam Raimi has, however, expressed great confidence in the director, praising his ability to build tension and precisely manage the most brutal moments of the story.

New Protagonists to Face the Horrors of the Necronomicon

The cast includes Charlotte Hope, Jessica McNamee, Zach Gilford, Josh Helman, Ella Newton, Elizabeth Cullen, and Ella Oliphant. Although the story remains secret, everything suggests that the film will follow the line adopted by the most recent installments of the saga, featuring new characters destined to confront the dark forces linked to the Book of the Dead.

Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert return as producers, while Bruce Campbell and Lee Cronin are executive producers. A team that confirms the desire to keep one of the longest-running horror franchises of the last forty years alive.
