Hertfordshire, March 5, 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA invite all fans to discover the initial stages of FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE with a brand-new demo, available for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam®. In the demo of FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE, players will follow twins Mio and Mayu as they discover the village of Minakami. The adventure begins with the exploration of an abandoned house. Following a crimson butterfly, they obtain an extraordinary weapon: the latest enhanced version of the Camera Obscura! Thanks to it, they will be able to face terrifying encounters with apparitions. In addition to improved audio and graphics, some new features have been implemented, including the ability to hold Mayu's hand.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, the Digital Soundtrack, and the Digital Artbook, is available for pre-order now. The Digital Deluxe bonus set includes the Deluxe Pendant and costumes for Mio and Mayu*. A Digital Deluxe upgrade is also available separately. Players who purchase the physical or digital version of the game before March 25, 2026, will receive the following early purchase bonuses: Apparition Pendant, Peony Hairpin (red), Peony Hairpin (blue), Kimono (red), and Kimono (black).

Those who pre-order the game before March 12, 2026, will receive the Spirit Pendant, Cat Ears (white), Cat Ears (black), and the Crimson Butterfly - Original Mio and Crimson Butterfly - Original Mayu costumes, inspired by those from the original game.

FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE is scheduled for release on March 12, 2026, for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam®. The game will be voiced in Japanese with text in Italian, English, French, German, and Spanish.
