eSERIE A GOLEADOR, the new season of the official esports championship begins
The sixth edition of the official competitive gaming championship organized by Lega Calcio Serie A in collaboration with Infront Italy kicks off
The eSerie A Goleador 2026 has officially begun. The esports championship of the Lega Calcio Serie A, created in collaboration with Infront Italy, returns for its sixth edition, bringing the passion of Italian football from the green pitch to the virtual field. With Torino FC eSports defending the title won last year, the hunt for the champion title has restarted, confirming the event as the most prestigious stage for national competitive gaming. A new challenge on EA SPORTS FC 26 has just begun, ready to deliver a championship rich in tactics, spectacle, and plot twists.
The season is characterized by a structure designed to keep the competition high until the last match. 16 esports teams from the Clubs of the top Italian football division, divided into 4 groups, will face each other in a Regular Season with home and away matches: Group A (First leg on February 17 and Second leg on March 17) will see Hellas Verona FC, SSC Napoli eSports; Parma Esports and Udinese Esports compete; in Group B (First leg on February 18 and Second leg on March 18) Como Gaming Club, Juventus, US Lecce Esports and Torino FC Esports will face off; Bologna FC 1909 Esports, ACF Fiorentina Esports, AS Roma Esports and Sassuolo eSports make up Group C (First leg on March 3 and Second leg on March 31); finally, in Group D (First leg on March 4 and Second leg on April 1), Cagliari Calcio Esports, U.S. Cremonese IGP, Genoa Esports and Pisa SC Esports will compete. A marathon that will test the reflexes and steady nerves of pro players and which, at the end of the regular season return matches scheduled for early April, will culminate in May during COMICON Napoli, where the Playoffs and Finals will take place to crown the new champion team. The competition will not only award the Italian title but will also represent a fundamental springboard for the global competitive circuit. Included in Electronic Arts' official FC Pro calendar, the eSerie A Goleador qualifies its champions for the most important events of the season: the eChampions League and the FC PRO World Championship.
