The Chinese company NetEase has announced ECC: Redline, a new multiplayer tactical FPS aimed at the competitive scene, whose peculiarity lies in featuring elite athletes as characters. In the near future, these protagonists take part in an extreme event, a form of spectacle called the Extreme Circuit Championship. Boasting exceptional mobility, athletes can run and climb across the map with greater dynamism (while shooting at each other, of course).

In addition to movement, ECC: Redline intends to emphasize the tactical depth of 4-person teams, each with a well-defined role, as well as the feedback of firearms, which will be highly customizable. The announcement trailer was accompanied by the first gameplay trailer, which gives us a general idea of the experience (it is still a work in progress at the moment).

When and Where ECC: Redline Will Be Released

The developer of ECC: Redline is Galaxy Studio, an internal NetEase team. To date, this blend of competitive shooter and extreme sports does not yet have a release window. The first confirmed platform is PC, via Steam, but it can be assumed that the game will also arrive on major consoles and perhaps mobile devices.
