A few months after its theatrical release, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have published the first trailer for Dune: Part Three, the concluding chapter of the trilogy directed by Denis Villeneuve. The film will arrive in Italian cinemas on December 16, 2026, aiming to become one of the cinematic events of the Christmas holidays.

The story picks up many years after the events of the second chapter. Paul Atreides, now Emperor, must live with the consequences of the holy war fought in his name. As his acquired power tests his balance, new political tensions and ancient enemies threaten the stability of the Empire.

The trailer alternates spectacular sequences set among the dunes of Arrakis with more intimate moments, highlighting the protagonist's inner conflict, torn between his bond with Chani and his marriage to Princess Irulan. On the production front, Villeneuve also co-wrote the screenplay with writer Brian K. Vaughan, replacing Jon Spaihts, who was involved in the previous films.

The cast sees the return of Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, and Jason Momoa, whose return represents one of the most anticipated novelties. The group is also completed by Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson. The director finally confirmed that an extended preview of the film will accompany the IMAX screenings of The Odyssey.
