Dispatch Turns One and Arrives on Mobile Devices
AdHoc Studio celebrates with new content for the Deluxe edition
Dispatch represents the surprising debut of US developer AdHoc Studio, a game that managed to revive episodic narrative in the video game landscape, with over five million copies sold. This title can well be considered the spiritual heir to Telltale's works (it's no coincidence that part of the Studio's staff comes directly from Telltale), and if you ask for our opinion on it, we can tell you that we consider it a masterpiece.
The Birthday and Arrival on Mobile
Dispatch has just turned one year old: it was October 22 when the first two episodes (out of eight) were published on PlayStation 5 and PC. Subsequently, the acclaimed narrative adventure also landed on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, but the list of platforms is set to grow: AdHoc Studio has indeed announced conversions for Android and iOS mobile devices, which will be released on December 9, 2026. On mobile, the first 4 episodes will be accessible for free.
New Dispatch Content
To celebrate the game's first anniversary, AdHoc Studio has released two new modes, which are available with the Deluxe edition of Dispatch. The first, Commentary Mode, introduces 16 hours of episode commentary, with two distinct audio tracks from the developers and the game's cast. The second, Storyboard Mode, allows you to experience the entire journey by viewing the preparatory boards that were used during development.
