Daredevil: Born Again, the third season will be the last

Marvel Television will conclude Daredevil: Born Again with its third season, a decision that comes after filming has wrapped and while the episodes are now in post-production. For Dario Scardapane, the series' showrunner, the adventure has already ended: his contract has expired and was not renewed.

The conclusion of the series, however, does not seem destined to interrupt Matt Murdock's journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio could find space in other projects, although no precise details on potential future appearances have been communicated yet.

There's a future for Daredevil

Scardapane's statements hint at interesting developments for the relationship between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk. The two adversaries might find themselves facing a threat capable of forcing them to collaborate, a scenario that would open up new possibilities for the concluding season.

Among the characters who might find space in the story is also Elektra, whose return has already been confirmed. The series will continue to look to the character's comic book tradition, with references to the interpretations of Frank Miller, Brian Michael Bendis, and Chip Zdarsky.

Meanwhile, Marvel Television is working on Zodiac, a spy thriller that expands the landscape of its television productions. The project references a Marvel comics organization, but details on the plot and connections to the MCU remain limited. The third season of Daredevil: Born Again is expected on Disney+ in 2027 and will represent the final narrative arc of the series.
