American Horror Story 13 Will Not Be the End of the Series
The new cycle will debut on September 24 on FX and Hulu and will have a unique setup
The thirteenth season of American Horror Story is yet to arrive, but Ryan Murphy is already looking beyond. In a new interview, the series creator confirmed that the anticipated return of historical characters will not represent the concluding chapter of the horror anthology.
Murphy has, in fact, revealed that he is already working on initial ideas for season 14, also discussing which actors might be part of it. FX, for its part, seems intent on giving the series all the time it needs to continue its journey.
Season 13 Will Reunite the Past
The new cycle will debut on September 24 on FX and Hulu and will have a unique setup: several familiar faces from the past will return to play characters linked to previous seasons.
The cast includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Jessica Lange, and Billie Lourd, joined by Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, John Carroll Lynch, and Frances Conroy. New entries include Mena Suvari, Berto Colon, and John Waters.
The thirteenth season is presented as a major meeting point for the American Horror Story universe, but Murphy doesn't seem to have any intention of stopping now. The question, therefore, is no longer whether the series will continue, but what he will have in mind for the next season.
