Daredevil: Born Again 2 - Bullseye's Mask Appears
The character's return was not planned in the original version of the series
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again is back in the spotlight thanks to the first image finally showing Bullseye with a mask that strongly recalls the classic comic book look, while maintaining a more modern and urban cut. Wilson Bethel is wearing it again, reprising the role of Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter with a much more refined costume compared to his first appearance: more defined materials, marked textures, and the typical target on his forehead, albeit less conspicuous.
Bethel hinted that the new season will explore unprecedented sides of Dex's mental fragility and that we will witness the “best Bullseye fight scene ever made.” A promise that, given his history in the Daredevil universe, suggests a higher level of intensity than usual.
The character's return was not planned in the original version of the series, but the creative revision turned the tables, even linking him to the mysterious murder of Foggy Nelson. A change that adds emotional weight to the plot and pushes Matt Murdock towards an increasingly personal confrontation.
Further complicating the picture is the arrival of Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, ready to assist Daredevil while Wilson Fisk continues his political ascent. With an ensemble cast that brings together historical names from the Marvel television universe, the second season of Born Again seems to promise a darker tone than ever.
