Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a spinoff, but it's probably not what you'd expect. The sci-fi video game created by CD Projekt Red will receive a sequel in a few years, but first, it's time for a small detour, speeding through the streets of Night City on futuristic motorcycles. UNIS Technology, a Canadian company specializing in arcade cabinets, has announced Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush.

This is a racing game where players can choose riders and two-wheeled vehicles inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, to compete on tracks set in Night City and its surroundings. The competition will be no holds barred: players can attack their rivals with firearms and melee weapons. More… experienced players will find this arcade formula familiar, as it's essentially that of Road Rash, the legendary racing title for Sega Mega Drive.

But now for the bad news: if this sort of spurious crossover between Cyberpunk 2077 and Road Rash excites you, we regret to inform you that the game was conceived only for arcade cabinets. In the trailer below, there's a nice dual setup for two players: it will be difficult to ever see it in Italy, although hope is the last to die.
