Cliff Booth's New Misadventures: The Trailer
Fincher reunites with Pitt after Seven, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
In 1977, Cliff Booth is an expert problem solver for the film industry. Brad Pitt returns to play the character from Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood in Cliff Booth's New Misadventures, a sequel written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher. In Los Angeles, he navigates between producers and unsavory figures, taking on delicate assignments that the Studios would prefer to keep away from prying eyes.
The trailer shows a protagonist grappling with a world where discretion is paramount. Situations quickly escalate, and Booth's ability to get by even when violence becomes inevitable once again takes center stage. Among the anticipated scenarios is a demolition derby, in a story that seems to move away from the nostalgic dimension of the 2019 film to approach a crime thriller.
David Fincher Enters the Tarantino Universe
Fincher reunites with Pitt after Seven, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This new chapter will not, however, see the return of Leonardo DiCaprio: Rick Dalton is not listed in the announced cast. Alongside Pitt will be Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Peter Weller.
The release is scheduled for Italian IMAX cinemas on November 26, 2026, while the film will arrive on Netflix on December 23. An intermediate story that expands Tarantino's universe by following his character away from the shadow of his old set companion.
