A gaming mouse that focuses entirely on lightness without sacrificing a closed, more traditional structure: this is the new CHERRY XTRFY M42V2. The model retains the symmetrical shape of the previous M42 and introduces 2x interchangeable rear shells. Simply replace them to change the mouse's size and grip, a solution designed to adapt to different hand grips without screws or tools.

The weight is just 45 grams, while the PixArt 3327 sensor reaches 6200 CPI and a polling rate of up to 1,000 Hz. The Huano Transparent Blue Shell Pink Dot switches are certified for 80 million clicks.

All adjustments remain on the mouse

One of the most interesting choices concerns the software. The M42V2 works in plug and play mode and allows you to modify CPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and debounce time directly from the hardware.

Movement is handled by PTFE-free UHMW-PE feet, while the matte UV coating should ensure a more stable grip. Connection to the PC is via a 1.8-meter CHERRY XTRFY EZcord cable. The model is already available with a suggested retail price of 39.99 euros.
