The race towards ever faster gaming peripherals also involves wireless connectivity. With the new K63W Pro Compact, CHERRY XTRFY introduces Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to the gaming keyboard sector, a solution designed to reduce interference and maintain high performance even in environments crowded with wireless signals.

The new model utilizes an 8000 Hz polling rate both wired and wirelessly, communicating with the PC up to eight times every millisecond. The goal is to offer the most immediate input response possible, without sacrificing the convenience of a wireless connection.

A keyboard designed for competition

On the autonomy front, a 6000 mAh battery is included, supported by the energy efficiency of UWB technology to ensure long usage sessions. The 70% layout retains the function key row but reduces the overall footprint, leaving more space for mouse movements.

CHERRY XTRFY has also adopted CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches along with a revised gasket structure, with the aim of improving comfort, acoustics, and typing feel compared to traditional low-profile keyboards.

The K63W Pro Compact will debut in Europe in early July with a recommended price of 179.99 euros, while the US market launch is scheduled for August.
