Castle of Shikigami 3, the shmup will arrive on Switch in April 2026

Last March, the shmup Castle of Shikigami 3 was released on Steam. The vertical-scrolling shooter, developed by Alfa System and originally released between 2006 and 2008 on arcade cabinets, 360, and Wii (obviously not in Europe), has been converted for modern PCs by Cosmo Machia, who will also be responsible for bringing the title to Nintendo Switch.
For now, Castle of Shikigami 3 has only been confirmed for Nintendo's hybrid platforms in Japan, where it will land in April 2026, but a local edition is not yet out of the question. Here's the announcement trailer.
