Capcom Sales: Resident Evil Requiem at 8 Million, Pragmata at 2.5 Million
The Japanese company is going strong, as usual
Capcom has shared its financial results for the quarter from April 1 to June 30, 2026, and the numbers show strong growth compared to the previous year: it's enough to note that 23.81 million games were sold during this period, compared to 14.16 million in 2025. The exploit is not surprising, partly because the Japanese company's enviable game library was strengthened with other strong titles in 2026, and partly because Capcom has represented a sort of happy island in the last decade, in a crisis-ridden sea like that of video games.
Capcom Game Sales
New Capcom games are almost always a guarantee of success, and the 2026 titles are no exception. The document reports that Resident Evil Requiem sales have exceeded 8 million copies in just 4 months: it's only a matter of time before Requiem joins the prestigious 10 million club, along with many other chapters of the saga. Pragmata also achieved a very positive result, considering it is a new IP: in its first two and a half months on the market, it surpassed 2.5 million copies.
