Cairn Updates with On the Trail: Deep Water DLC - Release Date

French studio The Game Bakers has shared a trailer for On the Trail: Deep Water, the first DLC for Cairn, to announce its release date. The mountaineering title is enriched with three new locations, which are smaller than the original Mount Kami, but can be tackled with a limited amount of energy. Furthermore, players will need to familiarize themselves with the climbing style of a second character, Marco, who joins the protagonist Aava.

When the Cairn DLC is Released

The release date for the On the Trail: Deep Water DLC was originally set for August, but The Game Bakers needed a bit more time and postponed it to October 29, 2026. The new content will be available on the game's platforms: PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG). On the Trail: Deep Water is free.
