Cairn Expands with On the Trail: Deep Water

French studio The Game Bakers announces the release of On the Trail: Deep Water, a DLC for Cairn now available on all game platforms (PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam). This free additional content introduces three new maps to climb: a gym with multiple challenging routes, a sea stack overlooking the ocean, and a wild island. These areas are smaller than the game's main one (Mount Kami), but can be tackled with a limited amount of energy.

Another new feature is the introduction of Free Roam mode for Mount Kami: after completing Cairn, players can climb starting from any previously unlocked bivouac and explore every corner of the mountain at their own pace. Finally, there's a second playable character to use, Marco, with his own climbing style: he doesn't have the same flexibility as the protagonist Aava, but he can rely on stronger arms.
