The Game Bakers, a French studio known for titles like Furi and Haven, has shared a new trailer for its upcoming work, Cairn, to announce its release date. This title aims to offer the experience of climbing a mountain in a realistic way: Cairn is a climbing simulator with a survival twist where we find the protagonist Aava grappling with the ruthless Mount Kami, a peak that has never been reached before.
When and where Cairn will be released
The mountain can be climbed following any desired path, but obviously, great care must be taken not to lose one's life… This game was expected last October, then it received a postponement, but we won't have to wait too long: Cairn will be released on January 29, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Steam.
