The phenomenon of free-to-play open worlds from Southeast Asia, which was popularized a few years ago by Genshin Impact, could find one of its greatest exponents in Ananta. Publisher NetEase and developer Naked Rain have shared a new, long gameplay trailer, which seems to want to convey a clear message: in Ananta, you'll find everything you desire to do and much more.

The intertwining of characters, situations, and gameplay mechanics offered by Ananta's urban fantasy metropolis seems endless: we have a sandbox open world to explore (who said GTA?), driving a variety of vehicles or even swinging between buildings like Spider-Man. There's obviously combat, both melee – a brawler that feels a bit like Yakuza – and third-person shooter style.

How can one not notice the infinite quantity of side activities to undertake, with more or less bizarre skits just waiting for players... If this mountain of excess intrigues you, know that for now Ananta does not yet have a release date, but you can pre-register on the official website. NetEase will publish the game on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices.
