Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is available today on PS5, Xbox, and PC: prices, editions, and the Alien Romulus DLC
Co-op shooter for up to 4 players with Xenomorphs, Synthetics, and new Specialist class: Standard Edition at €49.99, 40th Anniversary Premium at €69.99. Switch 2 in autumn
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, developed by Daybreak Game Company and Cold Iron Studios in collaboration with 20th Century Games, is available starting today. The game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam, with the Nintendo Switch 2 edition planned for autumn.
The anticipated sequel is a third-person survival shooter set in the iconic Alien universe, bringing teams of up to four players to face a nightmare where danger lurks everywhere and every battle could be their last. Drawn by a distress signal, a squadron of Colonial Marines finds itself confronting overwhelming numbers of Xenomorphs — from swarms of drones to more powerful variants — as well as out-of-control Synthetics, other mechanized threats, and the monstrous yet lethal creations of illegal biological experiments. The title introduces deeper team mechanics, expanded character upgrades and perks, and a fully customizable Specialist class, for what the developers call the definitive co-op experience in the Aliens universe.
The game is available in a Digital Standard Edition for €49.99 on all mentioned platforms, while the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition is offered at €69.99. This edition contains two cosmetic DLCs that true Alien fans won't want to miss and can also be purchased separately for €19.
The Ripley's Hive Exterminator Pack includes an exclusive cosmetic outfit inspired by Ellen Ripley's look in the dramatic climax of Aliens - Final Showdown (1986), wearable by all player-created characters, along with Ripley's modified pulse rifle and exclusive decals to further customize your marine.
The Herk's Mondo Pest Pack, inspired by the over-the-top comic book hero, offers an equally extravagant outfit, along with an exclusive modified pulse rifle and a series of decals and customization elements.
Finally, from August 25, all game owners (of any edition) will be able to purchase the Rain's Jackson's Star Pack separately for $9.99, which brings elements inspired by Alien: Romulus to AFE2: a modified Cryo weapon, the iconic Colony outfit, and a complete set of traits, perks, augments, decals, and colorations inspired by Marie Raines "Rain" Carradine, designed for fans of the film.
