Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 - Shooter Release Date
Here's when we'll be fighting the Xenomorphs again
At San Diego Comic-Con, publisher Daybreak Game Company and developer Cold Iron Studios announced the release date for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. In this cooperative third-person shooter, players take on the role of Colonial Marines left to fend for themselves in the most remote corners of the universe, facing off against the lethal Xenomorphs. It will be a battle for survival, where every room visited could be their last.
Fireteam Elite 2 Features
Compared to the first installment, Fireteam Elite 2 will offer greater variety of weapons, abilities, and enemies, but the most important new features are elsewhere. Firstly, the squad size has been increased from 3 to 4 players, with a deeper focus on tactics and group mechanics. The classes have been revisited, and a new one has been added, the Specialist, a customizable type that allows combining the abilities of all other classes.
The Xenomorph enemies will not only be more varied, but their artificial intelligence has been refined. Players will be forced to constantly move and use every means at their disposal to avoid succumbing to this alien threat. Those who wish to push their team to the limit can try the Horde Mode, where incessant, increasingly powerful waves crash against the Marines.
Where and When Fireteam Elite 2 Releases
The release date for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set for one month from now: you can confront the universe's deadliest creatures starting August 25, 2026. The Xenomorphs will infest PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Epic Games Store.
