Alien: Earth – Season 2 Update
A return to its roots for the production, which has moved its soundstages to where Master Ridley Scott filmed his masterpiece.
Following the success of the first season, the second chapter of Alien: Earth will officially enter the filming phase starting in May at the renowned Pinewood Studios, one of the most iconic locations in the saga's history.
Return to the Historic Pinewood Studios
The information was confirmed by Sydney Chandler, who stars as Wendy. The actress revealed that filming will begin in spring, although the actors have not yet received the final scripts for the new episodes, indicating that creative work is still ongoing.
The relocation of the production to the United Kingdom marks a significant change from the first season, which was primarily filmed in Thailand. The choice of Pinewood Studios is not random: several chapters of the cinematic saga were made here, including the progenitor Alien, Alien 3, and Prometheus, strengthening the link between the television series and the franchise's tradition.
The production is led by Noah Hawley, already known for his work on Fargo, and represents one of the most ambitious television projects linked to the universe created by Ridley Scott. If the schedule is met, the second season could debut in 2027 on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ platforms.
The first season's finale left several questions unanswered, especially regarding Wendy's role and the new balance between humans, corporations, and xenomorphs.
