AfterZero - The Last Drive: 3DClouds' new game announced
A survival game in a frozen world, seen from the windshield of an off-road vehicle
The Milanese software house 3DClouds has announced AfterZero - The Last Drive, its new driving game. In the past, 3DClouds has ventured into other wheeled video game experiences, most notably Formula Legends, yet the new title differs significantly from them: this is not about racing, but rather about exploration and survival. AfterZero is set in a post-apocalyptic future where Earth is enveloped in a perpetual freeze.
To save themselves, the last survivors intend to reach a mythical land where the climate is presumed to be milder, but to do so they must first repair the train that will take them to their destination. This is where the player comes in: aboard an off-road vehicle, they will have to traverse the frozen lands to find spare parts for the train. This will be no easy feat, because during the journey, the main focus will be on survival – both their own and that of the survivors' camp.
When and where AfterZero - The Last Drive will be released
The announcement trailer provides a preliminary overview of the work. AfterZero - The Last Drive will be published by 3DClouds in 2027; you will be able to save humanity with an off-road vehicle on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC).
