Ufficiale: Ps3 in Europa il 23 Marzo

Confermando quanto lasciato trapelare dalla nota rivista Edge sul proprio sito Web, Sony ha ufficializzato durante la notte la data di uscita europea della PS3. La nuova console Sony sarà quindi commercializzata a partire dal prossimo 23 Marzo nella sola versione da 60 Giga. Il modello inferiore, dotato di un disco da 20 Giga e privo del supporto nativo Wi-Fi e del lettore di schede di memoria, sarà disponibile nel corso dell'anno, a seconda dell'effettiva richiesta del mercato. Saranno circa un milione le console disponibili al Day One, ovvero il doppio di quanto distribuito inizialmente in America e Giappone (rispettivamente 400.000 e 100.000 pezzi consegnati). Saranno trenta, invece, i titoli della lineup disponibili per il pubblico europeo, anche se tra questi non figura nessuna esclusiva europea. Questa la lista completa:
