Jonathon Chey: We're all very excited about the reception the game has gotten. It's nice because we've had time to catch up on sleep since going Gold and everyone is feeling a bit more human now. So it's a good time to be a game developer, kind of makes the crunch time seem worthwhile.

WG: Tell us a little about Irrational Games and how the concept of this particular super hero game evolved and finally was realized. Did the cancellation of other projects by other companies pursuing the same genre, such as the much anticipated Champions title, encourage or discourage your efforts? How long have you been at work from initial concept to final ship date?

Jonathon: This title was conceived quite a while ago and it was brought to life in early 2000. At that time we had an opportunity to start a project in our new Australian development studio and Crave was looking for a new PC title to work on. We pitched the idea to them and they were smart enough to recognize the appeal.
